Second Japan-China Press Secretary Consultations

1. Mr. Mitsuo Sakaba, Press Secretary/Director-General for Press and Public Relations, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, will take part in the Second Japan-China Press Secretary consultations on January 25 (Thu) in Beijing.
2. At these consultations, Mr. Sakaba will exchange views with Mr. Liu Jianchao, Director-General, Information Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on more positive provision of information for the media and wide-ranging publicity for Japan-China exchange programs, based on the last consultations, for further development of Japan-China relations.
3. The first consultations were held between Mr. Sakaba and Mr. Liu last August in Tokyo.
