Visit to Japan of The Rt. Hon. Sir Michael Thomas Somare, Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea and Lady Veronica Somare

The Rt. Hon. Sir Michael Thomas Somare, Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea, and Lady Somare, accompanied by a suite, will pay a visit to Japan from February 12 to 18, 2005, and will stay as the Guest from February 14 to 17, 2005.
During their stay in Japan, the Prime Minister and Lady Somare will be received in audience by Their Majesties the Emperor and Empress of Japan.
The Prime Minister will also hold a meeting with Mr. Junichiro Koizumi, Prime Minister of Japan.
The Government of Japan sincerely welcomes the visit of the Prime Minister and Lady Somare, which will further strengthen the friendly relations existing between Japan and Papua New Guinea.
