Ms. Yoriko Kawaguchi, Minister for Foreign Affairs, to Visit the People's Republic of China
  1. Ms. Yoriko Kawaguchi, Minister for Foreign Affairs, will visit Beijing, People's Republic of China, from September 11 (Sat) to 13 (Mon).

  2. During her stay in China, Ms. Kawaguchi will attend the China Business Summit 2004 (hosted by the World Economic Forum), deliver a speech and meet with Mr. Tang Jiaxuan, State Councilor, to exchange views on various matters including Japan-China relations.

  3. This will be Ms. Kawaguchi's fifth visit to China following those in September 2002 (Beijing), April 2003 (Beijing), April 2004 (Beijing), and June 2004 (Qingdao: to attend the Third Asia Cooperation Dialogue Meeting).
