Ms. Yoriko Kawaguchi, Minister for Foreign Affairs, to Visit the People's Republic of China

  1. Ms. Yoriko Kawaguchi, Minister for Foreign Affairs, will visit the People's Republic of China (Beijing) from April 3 (Sat) to 4 (Sun).

  2. During her stay in China, Ms. Kawaguchi will have foreign ministerial talks with her counterpart Mr. Li Zhaoxing and meet with other Chinese leaders to exchange views on overall Japan-China relations, the situation of North Korea, and other issues facing the international community.

  3. This will be Ms. Kawaguchi's third visit to China following those in September 2002 and April 2003.
