Ms. Yoriko Kawaguchi, Minister for Foreign Affairs, to Visit France

1. Ms. Yoriko Kawaguchi, Minister for Foreign Affairs, will visit France from January 12 (Sun) to 15 (Wed).
   
   
2. During her stay in France, Ms. Kawaguchi will meet with French Government leaders to exchange views on the international situation and other matters in view of the fact that France takes the G8 chair this year, to confirm cooperation in such international forums as the Third World Water Forum and its Ministerial Meeting, G8 Evian Summit Meeting, and the Third Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD III), and to promote collaboration in dealing with global issues.
