Visit to the People's Republic of China by Ms. Yoriko Kawaguchi, Minister for Foreign Affairs

1. At the invitation of Mr. Tang Jiaxuan, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ms. Yoriko Kawaguchi, Minister for Foreign Affairs, will make an official visit to China from September 8 (Sun) to 10 (Tue).
   
   
2. During her stay in China, Ms. Kawaguchi will have foreign ministerial talks with Mr. Tang and meet with other Chinese leaders to exchange views on such matters as overall Japan-China relations in the latter half of this year which marks the 30th anniversary of the normalization of Japan-China relations, the regional affairs, and global issues.
