Visit to Japan of the Rt Hon Jack Straw, Secretary for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs of the United Kingdom

  1. The Rt Hon Jack Straw, MP, Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs of the United Kingdom, will visit Japan from July 16 (Tue) to 18 (Thu).

  2. On July 17, Ms. Yoriko Kawaguchi, Minister for Foreign Affairs, and Mr. Straw will hold a meeting to exchange views on international affairs including the regional situations and Japan-UK cooperation.

  3. After the meeting, the Foreign Ministers will hold a joint press conference.
