Visit to Japan by Dato' Seri Dr. Mahathir bin Mohamad, Prime Minister of Malaysia

Dato' Seri Dr. Mahathir bin Mohamad, Prime Minister of Malaysia, together with his wife Datin Seri Dr. Siti Hasmah bt Mohd Ali, will visit Japan from December 12 (Thu) to 16 (Mon) at the invitation of the Government of Japan.
On December 12, Dr. Mahathir will attend a Seminar for the 20th Anniversary of the Look East Policy, sponsored by the Foreign Ministry and The Nihon Keizai Shimbun, to deliver a keynote speech, and on December 13, he will also attend a symposium "Islam: Fostering Peace and Dialogue in an Interdependent World", jointly organized by the ambassadors of the member countries of the Organization of the Islamic Conference in Japan and the United Nations University, to deliver a keynote speech. Dr. Mahathir will meet with leaders of the Japanese Government and will also go on tour outside Tokyo.
