Her Excellency Mrs. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, President of the Republic of the Philippines, and Mr. Arroyo, accompanied by a suite, will pay a State Visit to Japan from December 2 to 5, 2002.During their stay in Japan, the President and Mr. Arroyo will make a State Call on Their Majesties The Emperor and Empress of Japan.
Their Majesties The Emperor and Empress will host a State Dinner in honor of the President and Mr. Arroyo.
The President will also hold a meeting with Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi.
The Prime Minister of Japan will host a Dinner in honor of the President and Mr. Arroyo.
The Government of Japan sincerely welcomes the visit of the President and Mr. Arroyo, which will further strengthen the friendly relations existing between Japan and the Republic of the Philippines.
