Ms. Makiko Tanaka, Minister for Foreign Affairs, to Visit the Czech Republic and the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia and to Attend the G8 Foreign Ministers' Meeting

1. From 14 (Sat) to 20 (Fri) July Ms. Makiko Tanaka, Minister for Foreign Affairs, will visit the Czech Republic and the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, and attend the G8 Foreign Ministers' Meeting, which will be held in Rome.

2. In the Czech Republic and the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, Foreign Minister Tanaka will meet with leading figures of respective governments to exchange views on overall bilateral relations and international situation.

3. Foreign Minister Tanaka will also attend the G8 Foreign Ministers' Meeting, to be held in Rome, to discuss various global and regional issues.
