Visit to Macau by Mr. Ryutaro Hashimoto, Senior Foreign Policy Advisor to the Prime Minister

1. Mr. Ryutaro Hashimoto, Senior Foreign Policy Advisor to the Prime Minister, will visit Macau to attend a series of Macau Handover ceremonies to be held on December 19 (Sun) and 20 (Mon), representing the Government of Japan.

2. During his stay in Macau, Mr. Hashimoto will attend the Handover Ceremony on December 19 (from 11:30 p.m.) held by China and Portugal, the Ceremony for the Establishment of the Macau SAR and for the Inauguration of the Macau SAR Government on 20 (from 1:30 a.m.) held by China, the Celebration Ceremony for the Establishment of the Macau SAR on 20 (from 10:00 a.m.) held by China, and other events.
