The First Japan-R.O.K. Security Dialogue

- The first Japan-R.O.K. Security Dialogue will be held on June 26 (Fri.) in Seoul.
- The dialogue will be attended on the Japanese side by Mr. Koreshige Anami, Director-General of the Asian Affairs Bureau of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Yoshiaki Hotsuki, Defense Councilor of the Director-General's Secretariat of the Defense Agency, and other officials from the Foreign Ministry and the Defense Agency; and on the R.O.K. side by Mr. Moon Bong Ju, Director-General of the Asian and Pacific Affairs Bureau of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Mr. Cha Young Gu, Deputy-Director of the Policy Planning Office of the Ministry of National Defense, and others concerned with foreign affairs and national defense.
- This dialogue will feature an exchange of views on the security environment surrounding the two countries, and their security and national defense policies.
- The dialogue is the first of its kind between Japan and the R.O.K. in which foreign affairs and defense authorities will participate.
