Visit to Japan by His Excellency Flight Lieutenant Jerry John Rawlings,President of the Republic of Ghana, and Mrs. Rawlings

His Excellency Flight Lieutenant Jerry John Rawlings, President of the Republic of Ghana, and Mrs. Rawlings, accompanied by a suite, will pay an official working visit to Japan from December 1 to 4, 1997. During their stay in Japan, the President and Mrs. Rawlings will be received in audience by Their Majesties The Emperor and Empress of Japan. Their Majesties The Emperor and Empress of Japan will host a Court Luncheon in honor of the President and Mrs. Rawlings. The President will have official talks with the Prime Minister of Japan. The Prime Minister of Japan and Mrs. Hashimoto will host a Dinner in honor of the President and Mrs. Rawlings. The Government of Japan sincerely welcomes the visit of the President and Mrs. Rawlings, which will further strengthen the friendly relations existing between Japan and the Republic of Ghana.
