千九百六十七年七月十四日にストックホルムで署名された世界知的所有権機関を設立する条約の一部を次のように改正する。

第九条(3)を次のように改める。 (3) 事務局長は、六年の任期をもつて任命される。事務局長は、六年の任期をもつて一回に限り引き続き任命されることができる。任命に関するその他のすべての条件は、一般総会が定める。
Article 9(3) of the Convention is hereby amended as follows: (3) The Director General shall be appointed for a fixed term of six years. He shall be eligible for reappointment only for one further fixed term of six years. All other conditions of the appointment shall be fixed by the General Assembly.
