漁業に関する日本国政府とニュー・ジーランド政府との間の協定の有効期間の延長に関する交換公文

　Wellington, September 23, 1986

　書簡をもつて啓上いたします。本大臣は、千九百七十八年九月一日にウェリントンで署名され千九百八十二年五月二十六日付けのニュー・ジーランド政府と日本国政府との間の交換公文により千九百八十四年九月三十日まで延長され、さらに千九百八十四年九月二十一日付けの交換公文により千九百八十六年九月三十日まで延長された漁業に関するニュー・ジーランド政府と日本国政府との間の協定に関して両政府の代表者の間で最近行われた討議に言及するとともに、前記の協定が千九百九十年九月三十日まで引き続き効力を有するものとすることをニュー・ジーランド政府に代わつて提案する光栄を有します。

　Excellency,I have the honour to refer to discussions which have recently taken place between the representatives of the two Governments concerning the Agreement on Fisheries between the Government of New Zealand and the Government of Japan, signed at Wellington on 1 September 1978 and extended until 30 September 1984 by the Exchange of Notes dated 26 May 1982 and further extended until 30 September 1986 by the Exchange of Notes dated 21 September 1984 between the two Governments, and to propose on behalf of the Government of New Zealand that the said Agreement continue in force until 30 September 1990.

　本大臣は、更に、前記の提案が日本国政府にとつて受諾し得るものであるときは、この書簡及びその旨の閣下の返簡が両政府間の合意を構成するものとすることを提案する光栄を有します。

　If the above proposal is acceptable to the Government of Japan, I have further the honour to suggest that this Note and Your Excellency's Note in reply to that effect shall constitute an agreement between the two Governments.

　本大臣は、以上を申し進めるに際し、ここに閣下に向かつて敬意を表します。

　I avail myself of this opportunity to extend to Your Excellency the assurances of my highest consideration.

　Excellency,I have the honour to acknowledge the receipt of Your Excellency's Note of today's date, which reads as follows:

　本使は、更に、前記の提案が日本国政府にとつて受諾し得るものであることを日本国政府に代わつて確認するとともに、閣下の書簡及びこの返簡が両政府間の合意を構成するものとすることに同意する光栄を有します。

　I have further the honour to confirm on behalf of the Government of Japan that the above proposal is acceptable to the Government of Japan and to agree that Your Excellency's Note and this Note in reply shall constitute an agreement between the two Governments.

　本使は、以上を申し進めるに際し、ここに閣下に向かつて敬意を表します。
