Tokyo, February 28, 1984
書簡をもつて啓上いたします。本大臣は、千九百七十三年一月十二日にアテネで署名された航空業務に関する日本国とギリシャ王国との間の協定及び千九百八十三年四月二十五日から二十六日までの間アテネにおいて行われた両国の航空当局間の協議に言及する光栄を有します。
Excellency, I have the honour to refer to the Agreement between Japan and the Kingdom of Greece for Air Services signed at Athens on January 12, 1973 and to the consultations held in Athens from April 25 to April 26, 1983 between the aeronautical authorities of the two countries.
本大臣は、前記の協議において到達した合意に従い、同協定の附属書が次のとおり修正されるべきことを日本国政府に代わつて提案する光栄を有します。
Pursuant to an agreement reached at the said consultations, I now have the honour to propose, on behalf of the Government of Japan, that the Annex to the Agreement be amended as follows:
本大臣は、以上を申し進めるに際し、ここに重ねて閣下に向つて敬意を表します。
I avail myself of this opportunity to renew to Your Excellency the assurances of my highest consideration.

1 日本国の指定航空企業が両方向に運営する路線
1. Routes to be operated in both directions by the designated airline of Japan:
日本国内の地点―北京及び(又は)上海及び(又は)広州－香港又はマニラーインドシナ内の地点バンコックーラングーンーコロンボ又はインド内の地点―パキスタン内の地点－ドバイ又はアブ・ダビー－テヘラン又はクウェイトーバグダッドーバハレーン又はダーラン又はジェッダーベイルート又はテル・アヴィヴ又はカイロ又はアンカラ又はイスタンブルーアテネーローマーチューリッヒ又はジュネーヴ―フランクフルト・アム・マイン―パリーロンドン
Points in Japan - Peking and/or Shanghai and/or Canton - Hong Kong or Manila - Points in Indochina - Bangkok - Rangoon - Colombo or points in India - Points in Pakistan - Dubai or Abu Dhabi - Teheran or Kuwait - Baghdad - Bahrain or Dhahran or Jeddah - Beirut or Tel Aviv or Cairo or Ankara or Istanbul - Athens - Rome - Zurich or Geneva - Frankfurt am Main - Paris - London.
日本国の指定航空企業が提供する協定業務は、日本国の領域内の一地点を起点としなけれげならないが、特定路線上の他の地点は、いずれかの又はすべての飛行に当たりその指定航空企業の選択によつて省略することができる。
The agreed services provided by the designated airline of Japan shall begin at a point in the territory of Japan, but other points on the specified routes may at the option of the designated airline be omitted on any or all flights.

ギリシャ内の地点―イスタンブル又はニコシア又はカイロ又はテル・アヴィヴ又はペイルート―ジェッダ又はダーラン又はバハレーン―バグダッドーテヘラン又はクウェイト―アブ・ダビー又はドバイ―パキスタン内の地点―インド内の地点又はコロンボ―ラングーン―バンコック―インドシナ内の地点―香港又はマニラ―広州及び（又は）上海及び（又は）北京―東京
Points in Greece - Istanbul or Nicosia or Cairo or Tel Aviv or Beirut - Jeddah or Dhahran or Bahrain - Baghdad - Teheran or Kuwait - Abu Dhabi or Dubai - Points in Pakistan - Points in India or Colombo - Rangoon - Bangkok - Points in Indochina - Hong Kong or Manila - Canton and/or Shanghai and/or Peking - Tokyo.
ギリシャの指定航空企業が提供する協定業務は、ギリシャの領域内の一地点を起点としなければならないが、特定路線上の他の地点は、いずれかの又はすべての飛行に当たりその指定航空企業の選択によつて省略することができる。

前記の提案がギリシャ共和国政府にとつて受諾し得るものであるときは、この書簡及びその旨の閣下の返簡をこの問題に関する両国政府間の合意を構成するものとみなし、その合意が閣下の返簡の日付の日に効力を生ずることを提案いたします。
If the above proposal is acceptable to the Government of the Hellenic Republic, I have further the honour to propose that this Note together with Your Excellency's reply to that effect shall be regarded as constituting an agreement between the two Governments which shall enter into force on the date of Your Excellency's reply.

書簡をもつて啓上いたします。本使は、本日付けの閣下の次の書簡を受領したことを確認する光栄を有します。
Excellency, I have the honour to acknowledge the receipt of Your Excellency's Note of today's date, which reads as follows:

本使は、ギリシャ共和国政府が日本国政府の前記の提案を受諾する旨を閣下に通報するとともに、閣下の書簡及びこの返簡がこの問題に関する両国政府間の合意を構成するものとみなし、その合意が本日効力を生ずることを確認する光栄を有します。
I have the honour to inform Your Excellency that the Government of the Hellenic Republic accepts the above proposal of the Government of Japan and to confirm that Your Excellency's Note and this reply shall be regarded as constituting an agreement between the two Governments in this matter, which enters into force on this date.
本使は、以上を申し進めるに際し、ここに重ねて閣下に向かつて敬意を表します。
