日本国とハンガリー人民共和国との間の文化交流に関する取極の延長に関する交換公文

書簡をもつて啓上いたします。本大臣は、日本国とハンガリー人民共和国との間の文化交流に関する両政府間の千九百七十三年四月九日付けの交換公文並びに同交換公文に盛られている取極(以下「取極」という。)を延長することに関する両政府間の千九百七十五年四月七日付けの交換公文、千九百七十七年四月八日付けの交換公文及び千九百七十九年四月六日付けの交換公文に言及する光栄を有します。
Sir,I have the honour to refer to the Exchange of Notes dated April 9, 1973 between the Government of Japan and the Government of the Hungarian People's Republic concerning cultural exchange between the two countries and to the Exchanges of Notes dated April 7, 1975, April 8, 1977 and April 6, 1979 between the two Governments concerning the extension of the effective period of the arrangements contained in the first-mentioned Exchange of Notes dated April 9, 1973 (hereinafter referred to as "the Arrangements").
本大臣は、更に、取極に基づく協力を継続して行うことを希望し日本国政府に代わつて次のとおり提案する光栄を有します。
Desiring to further continue cooperation under the Arrangements, I have further the honour to propose, on behalf of the Government of Japan, the following:
1 取極は、千九百八十五年四月八日まで更に二年間効力を有するものとし、その後においても2の規定に基づき終了させない限り引き続き効力を有する。
1. The Arrangements shall remain in force for a further period of two years until April 8,1985 and shall continue in force thereafter unless terminated as provided for in paragraph 2 below.
2 いずれの一方の政府も、1にいう二年の期間の終わりに又はその後いつでも取極を終了させる旨の意思を他方の政府に対し文書により通告することができる。この場合取極は、他方の政府による通告を受領した日の三箇月後に終了する。
2. Either Government may give written notice of its intention to terminate the Arrangements to the other Government at the end of the first two years or at any time thereafter. In such case, the Arrangements shall terminate to be effective three months from the date of the receipt of such notice by the other Government.
ハンガリー人民共和国政府が前記の提案に同意する場合は、この書簡及び同提案の受諾をハンガリー人民共和国政府に代わつて確認する貴官の返簡が両政府間の合意を構成するものとみなし、その合意が貴官の返簡の日付の日に効力を生ずることを提案する光栄を有します。
In case the Government of the Hungarian People's Republic is agreeable to the fore-going proposal, I have further the honour to suggest that, this Note and your Note in reply, expressing the acceptance of the proposal on behalf of the Government of the Hungarian People's Republic shall be regarded as constituting an agreement between the two Governments, which will enter into force on the date of your reply.

本官は、更に、ハンガリー人民共和国政府が閣下の書簡に述べられた提案を受諾することを通報するとともに閣下の書簡及びこの返簡が両政府間の合意を構成するものとみなし、その合意がこの返簡の日付の日に効力を生ずることに同意する光栄を有します。
I have further the honour to inform Your Excellency that the Government of the Hungarian People's Republic accepts the proposal set forth in Your Excellency's Note and to agree that Your Excellency's Note and this Note shall be regarded as constituting an agreement between the two Government, which will enter into force on the date of this reply.
本官は、以上を申し進めるに際し、ここに閣下に向かつて敬意を表します。
