航空業務に関する日本国とグレート・ブリテン及び北部アイルランド連合王国との間の協定の付表の修正に関する交換公文

書簡をもつて啓上いたします。本大臣は、千九百五十二年十二月二十九日に東京で署名された航空業務に関する日本国とグレート・ブリテン及び北部アイルランド連合王国との間の協定に言及し、同協定の付表(千九百六十七年八月二十二日、千九百六十九年六月十七日及び千九百七十年五月二十六日に修正されたもの)に次の修正を行うことを提案する光栄を有します。
1 付表の第一部(日本国の一又は二以上の指定航空企業が運営する路線)の路線(3)を次のように改める。東京－名古屋―大阪―福岡―鹿児島―沖縄―中国本土における協定地点及び(又は)台湾における地点－香港－サイゴン又はバンコックークアラ・ランプールーシンガポールージャカルタ
2 付表の第二部(連合王国の一又は二以上の指定航空企業が運営する路線)の路線(3)を次のように改める。
香港－中国本土における協定地点及び(又は)台湾における地点―沖縄―鹿児島―福岡－大阪－名古屋―東京－ソウル
本大臣は、前記の提案がグレート・プリテン及び北部アイルランド連合王国政府にとつて受諾し得るものであるときは、この書簡及びその旨の閣下の返簡をこの問題に関する両国政府間の合意を構成するものとみなし、その合意が閣下の返簡の日付の日に効力を生ずることを提案する光栄を有します。
本大臣は、以上を申し進めるに際し、ここに閣下に向かつて敬意を表します。

(United Kingdom Note) Tokyo, April 15, 1977
書簡をもつて啓上いたします。本使は、本日付けの閣下の次の書簡を受領したことを確認する光栄を有します。
Your Excellency, I have the honour to acknowledge the receipt of Your Excellency's Note of today's date, which reads as follows:

"I have the honour to refer to the Agreement between Japan and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern lreland for Air Services, signed at Tokyo on December 29, 1952, and to propose that the following amendments be made to the Schedule of the aforementioned Agreement as amended on August 22, 1967, June 17, 1969 and May 26, 1970:
1. Route (3) of Section I (Routes to be operated by the designated airline or airlines of Japan) of the Schedule shall be amended to read: "Tokyo - Nagoya - Osaka - Fukuoka - Kagoshima - Okinawa -points on the mainland of China to be agreed and/or on the island of Formosa- Hong Kong - Saigon or Bangkok - Kuala Lumpur - Singapore - Djakarta".
2. Route (3) of Section II (Routes to be operated by the designated airline or airlines of t,he United Kingdom) of the Schedule shall be amended to read: "Hong Kong - points on the mainland of China to be agreed and/or on the island of Formosa - Okinawa - Kagoshima - Fukuoka - Osaka - Nagoya - Tokyo - Seoul".
If the above proposal is acceptble to the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern lreland, I have the honour to suggest that this Note and Your Excellency's reply in that sense shall be regarded as constituting an agreement between t-he two Governments in this matter which shall enter into force on the date of your reply."
本使は、前記の提案がグレート・ブリテン及び北部アイルランド連合王国政府にとつて受諾し得るものであわ、したがつて、同政府は、閣下の書簡及びこの返簡がこの問題に関する両国政府間の合意を構成し、その合意が本日付けで効力を生ずることに同意する旨を閣下に通報する光栄を有します。
In reply, I have the honour to inform Your Excellency that the above proposal is acceptable to the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern lreland who therefore agree that your Note and this reply shall constitute an agreement between the two Governments in this matter which shall enter into force on this day's date.
本使は、以上を申し進めるに際し、ここに閣下に向かつて意を表します。
