日本国とカナダとの間の繊維製品の貿易に関する交換公文 
(日本側書簡)

　


　書簡をもつて啓上いたします。本使は、両国間の繊維製品の貿易について、日本国政府の代表者とカナダ政府の代表者との間で最近オタワで行われた討議に言及する光栄を有します。

　


　本使は、更に、千九百七十三年十二月二十日にジュネーヴで作成された繊維製品の国際貿易に関する取極の規定に基づく前記の討議の結果到達した次の了解を日本国政府に代わつて確認する光栄を有します。

　


1　前記の取極第二条1に従つて繊維監視機関に通報されたすべての現行の数量制限は、2に言及されたものを除くほか、千九百七十六年七月二十八日までに廃棄される。

　


2　日本国政府は、千九百七十六年十二月三十一日に終わる十二箇月の期間、付表に掲げられる繊維製品のカナダヘの輸出を付表に定めるところに従つて制限する。

　


3　両政府、2の実施に関するいかなる問題についても、いずれか一方の政府の要請に基づき協議を行う。

　


4　前記の諸規定は、両政府により、それぞれ自国の関係法令に従つて実施される。

　


　本使は、更に、この書簡(付表を含む。)及びカナダ政府に代わつて前記の了解を確認される閣下の返簡が両政府間の合意を構成し、その合意が閣下の返簡の日付の日に効力を生ずることを提案する光栄を有します。

　


　本使は、以上を申し進めるに際し、ここに重ねて閣下に向かつて敬意を表します。

　"I have the honour to refer to recent discussions held in Ottawa between representatives of the Government of Japan and of the Government of Canada on trade in textiles between our two countries.


							

						

						

					

					
				
			
		
			
			
				
				

				
				
				
					

						

							

								
　


							

						

						

							

								
　I have further the honour to confirm, on behalf of the Government of Japan, the following understanding reached as a result of the above-mentioned discussions in accordance with the provisions of the Arrangement regarding International Trade in Textiles done in Geneva on December 20,1973:


							

						

						

					

					
				
			
		
			
			
				
				

				
				
				
					

						

							

								
　


							

						

						

							

								
1. All the existing quantitative restructions which have been notified to the Textiles Surveillance Body under paragraph 1 of Article 2 of the said Arrangement shall be terminated by July 28, 1976 with the exception referred to in paragraph 2.


							

						

						

					

					
				
			
		
			
			
				
				

				
				
				
					

						

							

								
　


							

						

						

							

								
2. The Government of Japan will limit its exports, during the twelve-month period ending December 31, 1976, to Canada of the textiles listed in the Annex as provided for therein.


							

						

						

					

					
				
			
		
			
			
				
				

				
				
				
					

						

							

								
　


							

						

						

							

								
3. The two Governments will consult with each other at the request of either Government in respect of any Problem concerning the implementation of paragraph 2.


							

						

						

					

					
				
			
		
			
			
				
				

				
				
				
					

						

							

								
　


							

						

						

							

								
4.
