書簡をもつて啓上いたします。本使は、日本国政府及びイラン帝国政府の代表者の間で最近行われた討議に言及するとともに、千九百六十八年六月二十三日にテヘランで署名され、かつ、千九百七十五年六月二十二日まで延長された日本国政府とイラン帝国政府との間の貿易協定をその第六条の規定にかかわらず千九百七十五年六月二十三日から千九百七十六年六月二十二日まで更に一年間延長することとする旨の了解を日本国政府に代わつて確認する光栄を有します。
Excellency,I have the honour to refer to the discussions which have recently taken place between the representatives of the Government of Japan and the Imperial Government of Iran and to confirm, on behalf of my Government, the understanding that the Trade Agreement between he Government of Japan and the Imperial Government of Iran signed at Tehran on June 23rd, 1968, which has been extended up to June 22nd, 1975, shall be extended for a further period of one year from June 23rd, 1975 to June 22nd, 1976, notwithstanding the provisions of Article VI of the Agreement.
本使は、閣下が前記の了解をイラン帝国政府に代わつて確認されれば幸いであります。
I should be grateful if Your Excellency would be good enough to confirm the above-mentioned understanding on behalf of the Imperial Government of Iran.

書簡をもつて啓上いたします。本日千九百七十五年六月二十三日から千九百七十六年六月二十二日まで一年間延長された日本国政府とイラン帝国政府との間の貿易協定に関し、本使は、両国間の経済関係を一層拡大するため随時閣僚レベルの協議が行われることが望ましいことを日本国政府に代わつて確認する光栄を有します。
Excellency,With reference to the Trade Agreement between the Government of Japan and the Imperial Government of Iran extended today for a period of one year from June 23rd, 1975 to June 22nd, 1976, I have the honour to confirm, on behalf of my Government, that in order to further expand economic relations between the two countries, it is desirable to have consultations on a ministerial level from time to time.
