原子力の平和的利用における協力のための日本国政府とスウェーデン政府との間の交換公文

Tokyo, March 27,1973
書簡をもつて啓上いたします。本使は、原子力の平和的利用の分野におけるスウェーデンと日本国との間の協力の強化に関して、スウェーデン政府の代表者と日本国政府の代表者との間で最近行なわれた討議に言及するとともに、同討議の過程において到達した次の了解を確認する光栄を有します。
Excellency, I have the honour to refer to the recent discussions held between the representatives of the Government of Sweden and the Government of Japan concerning an intensification of cooperation between Sweden and Japan in the field of peaceful uses of atomic energy and to confirm the following understanding reached in the course of the said discussions:
スウェーデン政府及び日本国政府は、それぞれの国において有効な法令並びに国際取極に基づくそれぞれの権利及び義務に従い、スウェーデンの権限のある当局、企業又は研究機関と日本国の権限のある当局、企業又は研究機関との間の原子力の平和的利用の分野における協力を次の方法により発展させ、容易にするよう努力する。
The Government of Sweden and the Government of Japan shall endeavour to develop and facilitate, in accordance with laws and regulations in force in their respective counties and with their respective rights and obligations under international agreements, cooperation in the field of peaceful uses of atomic energy between the competent authorities, enterprises or research institutes of Sweden on the one hand, and the competent authorities, enterprises or research institutes of Japan on the other, through the following means:
科学的及び技術的情報の交換
- Exchange of scientific and technological information;
専門家の交換
- Exchange of experts;
研究者及び技術者の訓練
- Training of researchers and technicians; and
原子力の平和的利用の促進に資するその他の協力
- Other forms of cooperation for the promotion of peaceful uses of atomic energy.
このような協力のそれぞれの形式に関する条件は、必要な場合にはそれぞれの政府の承認を条件として、関係当事者間で取りきめられる。
The terms and conditions for each form of such cooperation will be worked out among the parties concerned, subject to approval by the respective Governments where required.
本使は、閣下が前記の了解を日本国政府に代わつて確認されれば幸いであります。
I should be grateful if Your Excellency would confirm the foregoing understanding on behalf of the Government of Japan.
本使は、以上を申し進めるに際し、ここに重ねて閣下に向かつて敬意を表します。
