一部旅券査証及び査証料の相互免除に関する日本国政府とエル・サルヴァドル共和国政府との間の取極（口上書）

外務省は、在日本国エル・サルヴァドル共和国大使館に敬意を表するとともに、日本国政府が、日本国とエル・サルヴァドル共和国との間の旅行並びに文化及び通商に関する関係を促進するために、日本国に入国することを希望するエル・サルヴァドル国民に対する査証及び査証料の免除に関し、千九百七十三年二月二十五日から相互主義に基づき次の措置をとる用意を有することを同大使館に通報する光栄を有する。
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs presents its compliments to the Embassy of the Republic of E1 Salvador in Japan and has the honour to inform the Embassy that the Government of Japan, with a view to facilitating travel as well as cultural and commercial relations between Japan and the Republic of E1 Salvador, is prepared to take on a reciprocal basis the following measures from the 25th of February,1973,concerning the waiving of visas and visa fees for the Salvadorian nationals seeking entry to Japan:
(1) 有効なエル・サルヴァドル旅券を所持するエル・サルヴァドル国民であつて、継続して三箇月をこえない期間滞在する意図をもつて日本国に入国することを希望するものは、査証を取得することなく、日本国に入国することができる。
(1) The Salvadorian nationals in possession of valid Salvadorian passports who are seeking entry to Japan with the intention of staying there for a period not exceeding three consecutive months, may enter Japan without obtaining a visa.
(2) 日本国政府は、(1)の規定に基づいて査証なしに日本国に入国したエル・サルヴァドル国民であつて、滞在期間を三箇月をこえて延長することを希望するものの滞在期間の延長を許可することができる。
(2) The Government of Japan may grant extensions of the period of stay to the Salvadorian Nationals who, having entered Japan without a visa under paragraph (1) above, desire to extend the period of stay beyond three months.
(3) (1)の規定に基づく査証の要件の免除は、エル・サルヴァドル国民であつて、就職し、永住し、自由職業若しくは他の生業を営み、報酬を得る目的で芸能(スポーツを含む。)に従事し、又は継続して三箇月をこえる期間滞在する意図をもつて日本国に入国することを希望するものについては、適用しない。
(3) The waiver of visa requirements under paragraph (1) above shall not apply to the Salvadorian nationals who desire to enter Japan with the intention of seeking employment or permanent residence, of exercising a profession or other occupation or of engaging in a public entertainment (including sport) for remunerative purposes or with the intention of staying there for a period exceeding three consecutive months.
(4) 査証が必要とされ、かつ、付与されるときは、日本国の権限のある外交及び領事当局は、その査証についていかなる手数料をも徴収しない。
(4) For visas, when required and granted, the competent Japanese diplomatic and consular authorities will not charge any fees.
(5) (1)の規定に基づく査証の要件の免除は、日本国に入国するエル・サルヴァドル国民に対し、外国人の入国、滞在、居住、出国その他の管理に関する日本国の法令に服することを免除するものではない。
(5) The waiver of the visa requirements under paragraph (1) above does not exempt the Salvadorian nationals entering Japan from the necessity of complying with the Japanese laws and regulations concerning the entry, stay, residence, exit and other control of aliens.
(6) 日本国政府は、好ましくないと認めるエル・サルヴァドル国民に対し、日本国に入国し又は滞在することを拒否する権利を留保する。
(6) The Government of Japan reserves the right to refuse the entry into or stay in Japan to the Salvadorian nationals considered undesirable.
(7) 日本国政府は、書面による二箇月の予告をもつて前記の諸規定を終了させることができる。
(7) The Government of Japan may terminate the foregoing by giving two months written notice.

エル・サルヴァドル共和国大使館は、外務省に敬意を表するとともに、エル・サルヴァドル共和国政府が、エル・サルヴァドル共和国と日本国との間の旅行並びに文化及び通商に関する関係を促進するために、エル・サルヴァドルに入国することを希望する日本国民に対する査証及び査証料の免除に関し、千九百七十三年二月二十五日から相互主義に基づき次の措置をとる用意を有することを同省に通報する光栄を有する。
The Embassy of the Republic of E1 Salvador presents its compliments to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and has the honour to inform the Ministry that the Government of the Republic of E1 Salvador,with a view to facilitating travel as well as cultural and commercial relations between the Republic of E1 Salvador and Japan, is pepared to take on a reciprocal basis the following meassures from the 25th of Februry,1973,concerning the waiving of visas and visa fees for the Japanese nationals seeking entry to E1 Salvador:
(1) 有効な日本国旅券を所持する日本国民であつて、継続して三箇月をこえない期間滞在する意図をもつてエル・サルヴァドルに入国することを希望するものは、査証を取得することなく、エル・サルヴァドルに入国することができる。
