一部旅券査証の相互免除に関する日本国政府とペルー共和国政府との間の取極（口上書）

外務省は、在日本国ペルー大使館に敬意を表するとともに、日本国政府が、ペルー共和国との間の観光並びに文化及び通商に関する関係を促進することを希望して、日本国に入国することを希望するペルー国民に対する査証の免除に関し、千九百七十二年二月一日から相互主義に基づき次の措置をとる用意を有することを同大使館に通報する光栄を有する。
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs presents its compliments to the Peruvian Embassy in Japan and has the honour to inform the Embassy that the Government of Japan, desiring to facilitate tourism as well as cultural and commercial relations with the Republic of Peru, is prepared to take, on a reciprocal basis, the following measures from February 1,1972,concerning the waiving of visas for the Peruvian nationals seeking entry to Japan.
(1) 有効なペルー一般旅券を所持するペルー国民であつて、継続して九十日をこえない期間滞在する意図をもつて日本国に入国することを希望するものは、査証を取得することなく、日本国に入国することができる。
(1) The Peruvian nationals in possession of valid Peruvian ordinary passports who are seeking entry to Japan with the intention of staying there for a period not exceeding ninety consecutive days, may enter Japan without obtaining visas.
(2) (1)の規定に基づく査証の要件の免除は、ペルー国民であつて、就職し、永住し、自由職業若しくは他の生業を営み、報酬を得る目的で芸能(スポーツを含む。)に従事し、又は継続して九十日をこえる期間滞在する意図をもつて日本国に入国することを希望するものについては、適用しない。
(2) The waiver of visa requirements under paragraph (1) above shall not apply to the peruvian nationals who desire to enter Japan with the intention of seeking employment or permanent residence, of exercising a profession or other occupation or of engaging in a public entertainment (including sport) for remunerative purposes or with the intention of staying there for a period exceeding ninety consecutive days.
(3) 日本国政府は、(1)の規定に基づいて査証なしに日本国に入国したペルー国民であつて、滞在期間を九十日をこえて延長することを希望するものの滞在期間の延長を許可することができる。
(3) The Government of Japan may grant extensions of the period of stay to the Peruvian nationals who, having entered Japan without visas under paragraph (1) above, desire to extend the period of stay beyond ninety days.
(4) (1)の規定に基づく査証の要件の免除は、日本国に入国するペルー国民に対し、外国人の入国、滞在、居住、出国その他の管理に関する日本国の法令に服することを免除するものではない。
(4) The waiver of the visa requirements under paragraph (1) above does not exempt the Peruvian nationals entering Japan from the necessity of complying with the Japanese laws and regulations concerning the entry, stay, residence, exit and other control of aliens.
(5) 日本国政府は、好ましくないと認めるペルー国民に対し、日本国に入国し又は滞在することを拒否する権利を留保する。
(5) The Government of Japan reserves the right to refuse entry into or stay in Japan to the Peruvian nationals considered undesirable.
(6) 日本国政府は、書面による一箇月の予告をもつて、前記の諸規定を終了させることができる。
(6) The Government of Japan may terminate the foregoing by giving one month written notice.

ペルー大使館は、外務省に敬意を表するとともに、日本国に入国することを希望するペルー国民に対する査証の免除に関する千九百七十一年十二月二十七日付けの同省の口上書に言及する光栄を有する。
The Peruvian Embassy presents ins compliments to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and has the honour to refer to the Ministry's Note Verbale dated December 27, 1971, concerning the waiving of visas for the Peruvian nationals seeking entry to Japan.
大使館は、さらに、ペルー共和国政府が、日本国との間の観光並びに文化及び通商に関する関係を促進することを希望して、ペルー共和国に入国することを希望する日本国民に対する査証の免除に関し、千九百七十二年二月一日から相互主義に基づき次の措置をとる用意を有することを同省に通報する光栄を有する。
The Embassy has further the honour to inform the Ministry that the Government of Republic of Peru, desiring to facilitate tourism as well as cultural and commercial relations with Japan, is prepared to take, on a reciprocal basis, the following measures from the February 1, 1972, concerning the waiving of visas for the Japanese nationals seeking entry to the Republic of Peru.
(1) 有効な日本国一般旅券を所持する日本国民であつて、継続して九十日をこえない期間滞在する意図をもつてペルー共和国に入国することを希望するものは、査証を取得することなく、ペルー共和国に入国することができる。
