日本国政府とイラン帝国政府との間の貿易協定の延長に関する交換公文

書簡をもつて啓上いたします。本使は、日本国政府及びイラン帝国政府の代表者の間で最近行なわれた討議に言及し、かつ、千九百六十八年六月二十三日にテヘランで署名された日本国政府とイラン帝国政府との間の貿易協定（千九百六十九年七月十二日にテヘランで交換された書簡により千九百六十九年六月二十三日から千九百七十年六月二十二日まで一年間延長され、さらに、千九百七十一年二月十四日テヘランで交換された書簡により千九百七十年六月二十三日から千九百七十一年六月二十二日まで一年間延長されたもの）をその第六条の規定にもかかわらず千九百七十一年六月二十三日から千九百七十二年六月二十二日までさらに一年間延長することとする旨の了解を日本国政府に代わつて確認する光栄を有します。
Excellency,I have the honour to refer to the discussions which have recently taken place between the representatives of the Government of Japan and the Imperial Government of Iran and to confirm, on behalf of my Government, the understanding that the Trade Agreement between the Government of Japan and the Imperial Government of Iran signed at Tehran on June 23rd, 1968, which was extended for a period of one year from June 23rd, 1969 to June 22nd, 1970, by the Notes exchanged at Tehran on July 12th, 1969 and further extended for a period of one year from June 23rd,1970 to June 22nd, 1971, by the Notes exchanged at Tehran on February 14th, 1971, shall be extended for a further period of one year from June 23rd, 1971 to June 22nd, 1972, notwithstanding the provisions of Article Ⅵ of the above-mentioned Agreement.
本使は、貴官が前記の了解をイラン帝国政府に代わつて確認されれば幸いであります。
I should be grateful if Your Excellency would be good enough to confirm the above-mentioned understanding on behalf of the Imperial Government of Iran.
本使は、以上を申し進めるに際し、ここに重ねて貴官に向かつて敬意を表します。
