航空業務に関する日本国政府とシンガポール共和国政府との間の協定の附表の修正に関する交換公文

26th November, 1971.
書簡をもつて啓上いたします。本使は、千九百六十七年二月十四日にシンガポールで署名された航空業務に関する日本国政府とシンガポール共和国政府との間の協定第十条及び第十二条の規定に従つて千九百七十一年十月四日から六日までの間シンガポールにおいて行なわれた協議に言及する光栄を有します。
Excellency, I have the honour to refer to the consultations held in Singapore from October 4 to October 6, 1971, in accordance with Articles 10 and 12 of the Agreement between the Government of Japan and the Government of the Republic of Singapore for Air Services Signed at Singapore on February 14, 1967.
本使は、前記の協議において到達した合意に従い、この書簡に同封する修正された附表が同協定の附表に代わるべきことを日本国政府に代わつて提案する光栄を有します。
Pursuant to an agreement reached at the said consultations, I now have the honour to propose, on behalf of the Government of Japan, that the Schedule to the Agreement should be replaced by the revised Schedule set out in the enclosure to this Note.
前記の提案がシンガポール共和国政府にとつて受諾しうるものであるときは、この書簡(同封物を含む。)及びその旨の閣下の返簡をこの問題に関する両国政府間の合意を構成するものとみなし、その合意が閣下の返簡の日付の日に効力を生ずることを提案いたします。
If the above proposal is acceptable to the Government of the Republic of Singapore, it is suggested that this Note with its, enclosure and Your Excellency's reply in that sense shall be regarded as constituting an agreement between the two Governments in this matter which shall enter into force on the date of Your Excellency's reply.

シンガポール一マレイシア内の地点―ブルネイ一バンコック一インドシナ内の地点ーマニラ一香港―高雄一台北―大阪一東京一ソウル一ホノルル一北アメリカ(カナダ及びアメリカ合衆国を含む。)の西海岸の地点
Singapore - points in Malaysia - Brunei-Bangkok - points in Indochina - Manila-Hong Kong - Kaohsiung - Taipei - Osaka- Tokyo - Seoul - Honolulu - points in the west coast of North America including Canada and the United States of America.
注A いずれか一方の締約国の一又は二以上の指定航空企業が行なう協定業務は、その締約国の領域内の一地点を起点とするものでなければならない。ただし、シンガポール共和国の指定航空企業は、同航空企業がマレイシア政府によつても指定されている場合には、マレイシア内の地点からその業務を開始し、シンガポールを経由して特定路線上を運航することができる。
NOTE A. The agreed services provided by the designated airline or airlines of either Contracting Party shall begin at a point in the territory of that Contracting Party. However, the designated airline of the Republic of Singapore, in the event that the same airline is also designated by the Government of Malaysia, may originate its services from points in Malaysia and operate through Singapore on the specified route.
注B 特定路線上の他の地点は、いずれかの又はすべての飛行にあたつて、指定航空企業の選択により署名することができる。
NOTE B. Other points on the specified routes may at the option of the designated airline be omitted on any or all flights.

Excellency, I have the honour to acknowledge the receipt of Your Excellency's Note of today's dated, which reads as follows:

本官は、シンガポール共和国政府が日本国政府の前記の提案を受諾する旨を閣下に通報するとともに、閣下の書簡及びこの返簡をこの問題に関する両国政府間の合意を構成するものとみなし、その合意が本日効力を生ずることを確認する光栄を有します。
I have the honour to inform Your Excellency that the Government of the Republic of Singapore accepts the above proposal of the Government of Japan and to confirm that Your Excellency's Note and this reply shall be regarded as constituting an agreement between the two Governments in this matter, which enters into force on this date.
本官は、以上を申し進めるに際し、ここに重ねて閣下に向かつて敬意を表します。
