日本国政府とイラン帝国政府との間の貿易協定の延長に関する交換公文

　Tehran, February 14th, 1971


　書簡をもつて啓上いたします。本使は、日本国政府及びイラン帝国政府の代表者の間で最近行なわれた討議に言及し、かつ、千九百六十八年六月二十三日にテヘランで署名された日本国政府とイラン帝国政府との間の貿易協定をその第六条の規定にもかかわらず千九百七十年六月二十三日から千九百七十一年六月二十二日までさらに一年間延長することとする旨の了解を日本国政府に代わつて確認する光栄を有します。

　Excellency,
I have the honour to refer to the discussions which have recently taken place between the representatives of the Government of Japan and the Imperial Government of Iran and to confirm, on behalf of my Government, the understanding that the Trade Agreement between the Government of Japan and the Imperial Government of Iran signed at Tehran on June 23rd, 1968, shall be extended for a further period of one year from June 23rd, 1970 to June 22nd, 1971, notwithstanding the provisions of Article VI of the above-mentioned Agreement.


　本使は、閣下が前記の了解をイラン帝国政府に代わつて確認されれば幸いであります。

　I should be grateful if Your Excellency would be good enough to confirm the above-mentioned understanding on behalf of the Imperial Government of Iran.


　本使は、以上を申し進めるに際し、ここに重ねて閣下に向かつて敬意を表します。

　I avail myself of this opportunity to renew to Your Excellency the assurances of my highest consideration.
