航空業務に関する日本国とイタリアとの間の協定の附表の修正に関する交換公文

Tokyo, 10th February 1970
書簡をもつて啓上いたします。本使は、千九百六十二年一月三十一日に東京で署名された航空業務に関するイタリアと日本国との間の協定及び千九百六十九年九月八日から十三日までの間東京において行なわれた日本国及びイタリアの航空当局間の協議に言及する光栄を有します。
Excellency, I have the honour to refer to the Agreement between Italy and Japan for Air Services signed at Tokyo on January 31, 1962, and to the consultations between the aeronautical authorities of Italy and Japan, which were held in Tokyo from September 8 to September 13, 1969.
本使は、前記の協議において到達した合意に従い、この書簡に同封する修正された附表が同協定の附表に代わるべきことをイタリア政府に代わつて提案する光栄を有します。
Pursuant to an agreement reached at the said consultations, I have the honour to propose, on behalf of the Government of Italy, that the Schedule of the Agreement be replaced by the revised Schedule set out in the enclosure to this Note.
本使は、前記の提案が日本国政府にとつて受諾しうるものであるときは、この書簡(同封物を含む。)及びその旨の閣下の返簡をこの問題に関する両国政府間の合意を構成するものとみなし、その合意が閣下の返簡の日付の日に効力を生ずることを提案する光栄を有します。
If the above proposal is acceptable to the Government of Japan, I have the honour to suggest that this Note with its enclosure and Your Excellency's reply in that sense shall be regarded as constituting an agreement between the two Governments in this matter, which will enter into force on the date of Your Excellency's reply.
本使は、以上を申し進めるに際し、ここに重ねて閣下に向かつて敬意を表します。

SCHEDULE
1 日本国の指定航空企業が両方向に運営する路線
1. Routes to be operated in both directions designated airline of Japan:
(a) 日本国内の地点―香港又はマニラ－サイゴン－プノンペン及び(又は)シェムレアップ－バンコック－ラングーン又はダッカ－カルカタ又はニュー・デリー－ボンベイ－カラチ－テヘラン、クウェイト、ダーラン又はバーレン－カイロ又はダマスカス－ベイルート－イスタンブル－アテネ－ローマ－スイス内の一地点－ドイツ連邦共和国内の一地点－パリ－ロンドン
(a) Points in Japan-Hong Kong or Manila-Saigon-Phnom Penh and/or Siem Reap-Bangkok -Rangoon or Dacca-Calcutta or New Delhi-Bombay-Karachi-Teheran or Kuwait or Dhahran or Bahrain-Cairo or Damascus-Beirut-Istanbul-Athens-Home-one point in Switzerland-one point in the Federal Republic of Germany-Paris-London.
(b) 日本国内の地点―アンカレッジ－今後定められる西ヨーロッパ内の二地点(注)－ローマ
(b) Points in Japan-Anchorage-two points in Western Europe to be specified later (°) -Rome.
注 これらの地点は、日本国政府が同時に又は別個に選択する。それに応じて、この附表は、これらの地点ヘの運航開始前に修正される。
(°) Those points are to be selected by the Government of Japan either simultaneously or separately. The Schedule shall be amended accordingly before the commencement of operation to those points.
2 イタリアの指定航空企業が両方向に運営する路線
2. Routes to be operated in both directions by the designated air line of Italy:
(a) イタリア内の地点―アテネ－カイロ、ベイルート、テル・アグィグ又はダマスカス－ダーラン－テヘラン－カラチ－ボンベイ、ニュー・デリー又はカルカタ－コロンボ又はラングーン－バンコッタ－プノンペン及び(又は)シェムレアップ－グィエトナム内の一地点―マニラ－香港―東京―ソウル
(a) Points in Italy-Athens-Cairo or Beirut or Tel Aviv or Damascus-Dhahran-Teheran -Karachi-Bombay or New Delhi or Calcutta-Colombo or Rangoon-Bangkok- Phnom Penh and/or Siem Reap-one point in Vietnam-Manila-Hong Kong-Tokyo-Seoul.
(b) イタリア内の地点―ハンブルグ、フランクフルト・アム・マイン、アムステルダム及びコペンハーゲンのうち今後定められる二地点(注)―アンカレッジ－東京
(b) Points in Italy-two points to be specified later among Hamburg, Frankfurt am Main, Amsterdam and Copenhagen (°)-Anchorage-Tokyo.
注 これらの地点は、イタリア政府が同時に又は別個に選択する。それに応じて、この附表は、これらの地点への運航開始前に修正される。
(°) Those points are to be selected by the Government of Italy either simultaneously or separately. The Schedule shall be amended according before the commencement of operation to those points.
3 いずれか一方の締約国の指定航空企業が行なう協定業務は、当該一方の締約国の領域内の一地点を起点としなければならないが、特定路線上の他の地点は、いずれかの又はすべての飛行にあたりその指定航空企業の選択によつて省略することができる。
3. The agreed services provided by the designated air line of either Contracting Party shall begin at a point in the territory of that Contracting Party, but other points on the specified routes may at the option of the designated air line be omitted on any or all flights.

Excellency, I have the honour to acknowledge the receipt of Your Excellency's Note of today's date, which reads as follows:

本大臣は、日本国政府がイタリア政府の前記の提案を受諾する旨を閣下に通報するとともに、閣下の書簡及びこの返簡をこの問題に関する両国政府間の合意を構成するものとみなし、その合意が本日効力を生ずることを確認する光栄を有します。
I have the honour to inform Your Excellency that the Government of Japan accepts the above proposal of the Government of Italy and to confirm that Your Excellency's Note and this reply are regarded as constituting an agreement between the two Governments in this matter, which enters into force on this date.
本大臣は、以上を申し進めるに際し、ここに重ねて閣下に向かつて敬意を表します。
