Vienna, December 23rd, 1969
書簡をもつて啓上いたします。本官は、日本国政府及びオーストリア政府の代表がウィーンにおいて最近行なつた会談に言及し、会談の結果到達した次の了解を確認する光栄を有します。
Sir, I have the honour to refer to the discussions which have recently taken place in Vienna between the representatives of the Japanese and Austrian governments and to confirm the following understanding reached as a result of the discussions:
千九百七十年六月三十日までの間、日本国とオーストリアとの間の貿易関係は、千九百六十六年十一月四日付けの交換公文に盛られた取極(千九百六十八年十二月二十四日付けの交換公文により改訂された「オーストリア輸入品目表」を含む。)の規定に基づいて規律される。
Until June 30th, 1970 the trade relations between Japan and Austria shall be regulated on the basis of the provisions of the arrangement embodied in the letters exchanged on November 4th, 1966, including the "Austrian Import List" as amended by the letters exchanged on December 24th, 1968.
貴官が、前記のことを貴国政府に代わつて確認されれば幸いであります。
I shall be grateful, if you would confirm the foregoing on behalf of your Government.
本官は、以上を申し進めるに際し、ここに貴官に向かつて敬意を表します。
