Note Verbale


　アメリカ合衆国大使館は、外務省に敬意を表するとともに、次のことがアメリカ合衆国政府の了解であることを申し述べる光栄を有する。

　The Embassy of the United States of America presents its complimennts to the Ministry of Foreign Affaits and has the honor to state that the follow is the understanding fo the Government of the United States of America.


(1)　アメリカ合衆国政府は、次の表に示す条件により、資格のある日本国民に対し、相互主義に基づき、無料で非移民査証を発給する。

(3)　いずれの一方の政府も、前記の(1)及び(2)においてそれぞれ規定された他方の国の国民に与える待遇を終了させる希望を、いつでも文書により他方の国の政府に通告することができる。この待遇は、その通告の日の後一箇月で終了させることができる。


							

						

						

							

								
(3) Either Government may any time give to the other Government written notice of its desire to terminate the treatment which it will accord to the nationals of the other country as set forth in the preceding paragraphs (1) and (2) respectively. (4)　千九百五十七年三月五日及び二十二日に東京で交換された口上書によりアメリカ合衆国政府及び日本国政府の間に成立した取極は、この口上書によつて与えられる待遇が実施される日をもつて終了する。


							

						

						

							

								
(4) The agreement between the Governments of the Ministry confirm in behalf of the Government of Japan that the understannding set forth above is also the ubdrstanding of the Government of Japan. The Embassy further has the honor to propose that this note verbale and Ministry's reply confirming the foregoing  in behalf of the Government of Japan shall be regarded as constituting an ahreement between the two Governments which will become operative thirty days subsequent to the date the Ministry's note of reply.


							

						

						

					

					
				
			
		
			
			
				
				

				
				
				
					

						

							

								
　大使館は、前記のことが日本国政府の了解でもあることを外務省が日本国政府に代わつて確認されることを要請する光栄を有する。大使館は、さらに、この口上書及び日本国政府に代わつて前記のことを確認される同省の回答をその回答の口上書の日付の日から三十日後に実施される両国政府聞の取極を構成するものとみなすことを提案する光栄を有する。
