EXCHANGE OF NOTES CONCERNING MODI-FICATION OF THE SCHEDULE OF THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN JAPAN AND THE KINGDOM OF THE NETHERLANDS FOR AIR SERVICES

書簡をもつて啓上いたします。本使は、千九百五十三年二月十七日にヘーグで署名されたオランダ王国と日本国との間の協定第十五条の規定に従つて千九百六十四年一月、二月及び三月の間に東京で行なわれた協議に言及する光栄を有します。
Monsieur le Ministre,I have the honour to refer to the consultations which took place in Tokyo during January, February and March, 1964 in accordance with Article 15 of the Agreement between the Kingdom of the Netherlands and Japan for Air Services, signed at The Hague on February 17th, 1953.
本使は、前記の協議において到達した合意に従い、千九百五十三年五月七日及び同年五月十二日付けの交換公文により修正された協定の附表について次の修正を行なうことを提案する光栄を有します。
Pursuant to an agreement reached at the said consultations I now have the honour to propose that the following amendments be made to the schedule of the Agreement as amended by the Exchange of Notes dated respectively May 7th and May 12th, 1958.
1 附表I(日本国の一又は二以上の指定航空企業が運営する路線)に掲げる路線(c)を削除する。
1. The route (c) specified in Section I (Routes to be served by the designated airline or airlines of Japan) shall be deleted.
2 附表II(オランダ王国の一又は二以上の指定航空企業が運営する路線)に掲げる路線(b)を次のように改める。
2. The route (b) specified in Section II (Routes to be served by the designated airline or airlines of the Kingdom of the Netherlands) shall be replaced by the following route:
(b) 両方向に、アムステルダム－アイスランド内の地点－グリーンランド内の地点－アラスカ及びアリューシャン列島内の地点－東京
(b) Amsterdam-Points in Iceland-Points in Greenland-Points in Alaska and the Aleutians-Tokyo, in both directions.
本使は、前記の提案が日本国政府の同意を得るならば、この書簡及びこれに対する閣下の返簡が前記の事項に関するオランダ政府と日本国政府との間の取極を構成するものとみなし、この取極が閣下の返簡の日付の日に効力を生ずることを提案いたします。
If the foregoing proposal is acceptable to the Japanese Government, it is suggested that this Note and Your Excellency's reply thereto should be regarded as constituting an agreement between the Governments of the Netherlands and Japan in this matter, which will enter into force on the date of Your Excellency's reply.

Monsieur l'Ambassadeur,I have the honour to acknowledge receipt of Your Excellency's Note of May 19th, 1964, which reads as follows:

本大臣は、日本国政府がオランダ政府の前記の提案を受諾したことを閣下に通報し、かつ、閣下の書簡及びこの返簡が前記の事項に関する両政府間の取極を構成するものとみなし、この取極がこの返簡の日付の日に効力を生ずることを通報する光栄を有します。
I have the honour to inform Your Excellency that the Government of Japan accepts the above proposal of the Government of the Netherlands and to confirm that Your Excellency's Note and this reply are regarded as constituting an agreement between the two Governments in this matter, which will enter into force on the date of this reply.
