航空業務に関する日本国とフィジーとの間の協定の付表の改正に関する交換公文
（フィジー側書簡） （訳文） 書簡をもって啓上いたします。本大臣は、千九百八十年三月十日にスバで署名された航空業務に関するフィジーと日本国との間の協定（以下「協定」という。）に関し、二千十六年七月六日及び七日にスバにおいてフィジー共和国及び日本国の航空当局の間で行われた協議に言及するとともに、別添の修正された付表が英語及び日本語で作成された協定の現行の付表に代わることを提案する光栄を有します。
(Fiji Note) Suva, February 27, 2018 Excellency, I have the honour to refer to the consultations held in Suva on 6 and 7 July 2016 between the aeronautical authorities of the Republic of Fiji and Japan concerning the Agreement between Fiji and Japan for Air Services signed at Suva on 10 March 1980 (hereinafter referred to as the “Agreement”), and to propose that the revised Schedule as set out in the Attachment shall replace the existing Schedule to the Agreement done in the English and Japanese languages.
本大臣は、更に、前記の提案が日本国政府にとって受諾し得るものであるときは、この書簡及び受諾を表明する閣下の返簡が両国政府間の合意を構成し、その合意が閣下の返簡の日付の日に効力を生ずることを提案する光栄を有します。
If the above proposal is acceptable to the Government of Japan, I have further the honour to propose that this Note together with Your Excellency’s Note in reply indicating such acceptance shall constitute an agreement between the two Governments, which shall enter into force on the date of Your Excellency’s reply.

SCHEDULE
１ フィジーの一又は二以上の指定航空企業が両方向に運営する路線
1. Routes to be operated in both directions by the designated airline or airlines of Fiji:(b) Points in Fiji – Hong Kong and/or one point in Southeast Asia or in South Pacific to be agreed upon later - points in Japan other than Tokyo – one point beyond to be agreed upon later.
（ａ） フィジー内の地点－香港及び（又は）後に合意される東南アジア又は南太平洋内の一地点－東京－後に合意される以遠の一地点
(a) Points in Fiji – Hong Kong and/or one point in Southeast Asia or in South Pacific to be agreed upon later – Tokyo – one point beyond to be agreed upon later.
（ｂ） フィジー内の地点－香港及び（又は）後に合意される東南アジア又は南太平洋内の一地点－東京以外の日本国内の地点－後に合意される以遠の一地点
(b) Points in Fiji – Hong Kong and/or one point in Southeast Asia or in South Pacific to be agreed upon later - points in Japan other than Tokyo – one point beyond to be agreed upon later.
注 路線（ａ）及び（ｂ）では、「東南アジア内の一地点」は、マニラ、バンコク、クアラルンプール、シンガ ポール又はジャカルタに限られる。
Note: On Routes (a) and (b), “one point in Southeast Asia” shall be limited to Manila, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore or Jakarta.
２ 日本国の一又は二以上の指定航空企業が両方向に運営する路線
2. Routes to be operated in both directions by the designated airline or airlines of Japan:
（ａ） 東京－後に合意される東南アジア及び（又は）南太平洋内の二地点－ナンディ－後に合意される以遠 の二地点
(a) Tokyo – two points in Southeast Asia and/or in South Pacific to be agreed upon later – Nadi – two points beyond to be agreed upon later.
（ｂ） 東京以外の日本国内の地点－後に合意される東南アジア及び（又は）南太平洋内の二地点－フィジー内の地点－後に合意される以遠の二地点
(b) Points in Japan other than Tokyo – two points in Southeast Asia and/or in South Pacific to be agreed upon later – points in Fiji – two points beyond to be agreed upon later.
注 路線（ａ）及び（ｂ）では、「東南アジア内の二地点」は、香港、マニラ、バンコク、クアラルンプール、 シンガポール及び（又は）ジャカルタに限られる。
Note: On Routes (a) and (b), “two points in Southeast Asia” shall be limited to Hong Kong, Manila, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and/or Jakarta.
３ いずれの締約国の一又は二以上の指定航空企業が提供する協定業務も、当該締約国の領域内の一地点をその起点としなければならないが、特定路線上の他の地点は、いずれかの又は全ての飛行に当たり当該指定航空企業の選択によって省略することができる。
3. The agreed services provided by the designated airline or airlines of either Contracting Party shall begin at a point in the territory of the Contracting Party, but other points on the specified route may at the option of the designated airline be omitted on any or all flights.

本使は、更に、日本国政府がフィジー共和国政府の前記の提案を受諾する旨を閣下に通報するとともに、閣下の書簡及びこの返簡が両国政府間の合意を構成し、その合意がこの返簡の日付の日に効力を生ずることを確認する光栄を有します。
I have further the honour to inform Your Excellency that the Government of Japan accepts the above proposal of the Government of the Republic of Fiji and to confirm that Your Excellency’s Note and this Note shall constitute an agreement between the two Governments, which shall enter into force on the date of this reply.
