口上書

在ジョージア日本国大使館は、ジョージア外務省に敬意を表するとともに、日本国政府が、外交旅券の所持者に対する外交査証の要件の免除に関し、相互主義に基づき、二千十五年六月一日から次の措置をとる用意を有することを同省に通報する光栄を有する。

１(1)　ジョージア国民であって、ジョージア外務省が発給した有効な外交旅券を所持し外交又は領事の任務の目的で日本国に入国することを希望するもの及びそのような旅券を所持し当該ジョージア国民の家族の構成員でその所帯に属するものは、継続して九十日を超えない期間査証を取得することなく日本国に入国することができる　　   　　
(2)　(1)のジョージア国民及びその家族の構成員が、継続して九十日を超える期間滞在する意図をもって日本国に入国することを希望する場合、入国する前に査証を取得することを要求される。

２(1)　ジョージア外務省が発給した有効な外交旅券を所持するジョージア国民であって、１(1)にいう目的以外の目的で継続して九十日を超えない期間滞在する意図をもって日本国に入国することを希望するものは、査証を取得することなく日本国に入国することができる。
  (2)　(1)の査証の要件の免除は、就職し、永住し、自由職業若しくは他の生業（報酬を得ることを目的とする芸能及びスポーツを含む。）に従事する意図をもって日本国に入国することを希望するジョージア国民には適用されない。

The Embassy of Japan in Georgia presents its compliments to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia and has the honor to inform the latter that the Government of Japan is prepared to take, on a reciprocal basis, the following measures from  , 2014 concerning the waiver of diplomatic visa requirements for diplomatic passport holders:

1. (1) Nationals of Georgia in possession of valid diplomatic passports issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, seeking entry into Japan for the purpose of exercising diplomatic or consular functions, and such nationals holding the said passports who are the members of their families forming part of their respective households, may enter Japan without obtaining a visa for a period not exceeding ninety (90) consecutive days.

(2) Nationals of Georgia and the members of their families referred to in sub-paragraph (1) above, with the intention of staying in Japan for a period exceeding ninety (90) consecutive days, will be required to obtain a visa prior to their entry.

2. (1) Nationals of Georgia in possession of valid diplomatic passports issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, seeking entry into Japan for the purpose other than those referred to in sub-paragraph 1. (1) above and with the intention of staying in Japan for a period not exceeding ninety (90) consecutive days, may enter Japan without obtaining a visa.
 
(2) The waiver of the visa requirements under sub-paragraph (1) above shall not apply to any nationals of Georgia who desire to enter Japan with the intention of seeking employment or permanent residence, or of exercising a profession or other occupation (including public entertainment and sport for remunerative purposes).


							

						

						

					

					
				
			
		
			
			
				
				

				
				
				
					

						

							

								
３　１及び２の査証の要件の免除は、日本国に入国するジョージア国民に対し、入国、滞在、居住、出国その他の外国人の管理に関する日本国の法令に服することを免除するものではない。

４　日本国政府は、公安、秩序及び衛生を含む公の政策上の理由により前記の諸措置の全部又は一部の適用を一時的に停止する権利を留保する。このような適用の停止又はその解除は、外交上の経路を通じて直ちにジョージア政府に通告される。

５　日本国政府は、好ましくないと認めるジョージア国民に対し、その理由を示すことなく日本国に入国し又は滞在することを拒否する権利を留保する。

６　日本国政府は、ジョージア政府に対し三十日前に文書による予告を与えることにより、前記の諸措置を終了することができる。

在ジョージア日本国大使館は、以上を申し進めるに際し、ここに重ねてジョージア外務省に向かって敬意を表する。

3.　The waiver of the visa requirements under paragraphs 1. and 2. above does not exempt nationals of Georgia entering Japan from the necessity of complying with the laws and regulations of Japan concerning the entry, stay, residence, exit and other control over foreign nationals.

4.　The Government of Japan reserves the right to temporarily suspend the application of all or any part of the foregoing measures for reasons of public policy including those relating to public security, order and health. Any suspension or lifting of the suspension will be notified immediately to the Government of Georgia through the diplomatic channel.

5.　The Government of Japan reserves the right to refuse the entry into or stay in Japan to nationals of Georgia considered undesirable without providing the motives for its decision.

6. The Government of Japan may terminate the foregoing measures by giving thirty (30) days’ written notice to the Government of Georgia.

The Embassy of Japan in Georgia avails itself of this opportunity to renew to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia the assurances of its highest consideration.

ジョージア外務省は、在ジョージア日本国大使館に敬意を表するとともに、次の事項について通報する光栄を有する。

１(1)　日本国の国民であって日本国外務省が発給した有効な外交旅券を所持しジョージアに入国することを希望するものは、いずれかの百八十日の期間を超えない最長九十日の期間外交査証を取得することなくジョージアに入国することができる。
  (2)　日本国外務省が発給した有効な外交旅券を所持する日本国の国民であって、ジョージアに所在する外交使節団、領事機関又は国際機関の業務に従事するもの及び認定を得るべきその家族の構成員は、最初に入国する前に査証を取得することを要求される。

２　１の査証の要件の免除は、ジョージアに入国する日本国の国民に対し、入国、滞在、居住、出国その他の外国人の管理に関するジョージアの法令に服することを免除するものではない。

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia presents its compliments to the Embassy of Japan in Georgia and has the honor to inform the latter the following :

(1) According to Georgian legislation, n ationals of Japan in possession of valid diplomatic passports issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, seeking entry into Georgia   may enter Georgia without obtaining a diplomatic visa for a maximum period of ninety (90)  days within any one hundred eighty (180) day period starting from the date of his or her initial entry into Georgia .
