経済上の連携の強化に関する日本国とメキシコ合衆国との間の協定附属書四の修正に関する外交上の公文の交換
（経済上の連携の強化に関する日本国とメキシコ合衆国との間の協定附属書四の修正に関する交換公文）
（日本側書簡） 書簡をもって啓上いたします。本使は、二千四年九月十七日にメキシコ市で署名された経済上の連携の強化に関する日本国とメキシコ合衆国との間の協定（以下「協定」という。）第百六十五条の規定により設置された合同委員会の決定第十号に言及する光栄を有します。
(Japanese Note) Mexico City, March 2, 2012 Mr. Legal Adviser, I have the honour to refer to Decision No. 10 of the Joint Committee established under Article 165 of the Agreement between Japan and the United Mexican States for the Strengthening of the Economic Partnership, signed at Mexico City on September 17, 2004 (hereinafter referred to as “the Agreement”).
本使は、更に、前記の合同委員会によりその決定第十号において採択された修正並びに協定第三十七条３(c)及び６並びに第百六十五条２(e)(i)の規定に従い、この書簡の別添の規定がそれぞれ協定附属書四第二節中の対応する規定に代わることを日本国政府に代わって提案する光栄を有します。
Pursuant to the modifications adopted by the said Joint Committee in its Decision No. 10 and subparagraph 3(c) and paragraph 6 of Article 37 and subparagraph 2(e)(i) of Article 165 of the Agreement, I have further the honour to propose, on behalf of the Government of Japan, that the provisions of the Attachment to this Note shall supersede the corresponding provisions set forth in Section 2 of Annex 4 of the Agreement respectively.
本使は、更に、前記の提案がメキシコ合衆国政府により受諾し得るものであるときは、この書簡及びその旨の貴官の返簡が日本国とメキシコ合衆国との間の合意を構成するものとし、その合意が二千十一年九月二十二日にメキシコ市で署名された経済上の連携の強化に関する日本国とメキシコ合衆国との間の協定を改正する議定書の効力発生の日に効力を生ずることを提案する光栄を有します。
If the above mentioned proposal is acceptable to the Government of the United Mexican States, I have further the honour to propose that this Note together with your Note of reply indicating such acceptance shall constitute an agreement between Japan and the United Mexican States, which shall enter into force on the same date of entry into force of the Protocol Amending the Agreement between Japan and the United Mexican States for the Strengthening of the Economic Partnership, signed at Mexico City on September 22, 2011.

This Note is written in the Japanese, Spanish and English languages, each text being equally authentic, and in case of differences of interpretation, the English text shall prevail.

(Mexican Note) Mexico City, March 2, 2012 Excellency, I have the honour to acknowledge the receipt of Your Excellency’s Note of today’s date, which reads as follows:
（日本側書簡） 本官は、更に、メキシコ合衆国政府が前記の提案を受諾することを閣下に通報するとともに、閣下の書簡及びこの返簡がメキシコ合衆国と日本国との間の合意を構成するものとし、その合意が二千十一年九月二十二日にメキシコ市で署名された経済上の連携の強化に関するメキシコ合衆国と日本国との間の協定を改正する議定書の効力発生の日に効力を生ずることを確認する光栄を有します。
“(Japanese Note)” I have further the honour to inform Your Excellency that the Government of the United Mexican States accepts the above proposal and to confirm that Your Excellency’s Note and this Note of reply shall constitute an agreement between the United Mexican States and Japan, which shall enter into force on the same date of entry into force of the Protocol Amending the Agreement between the United Mexican States and Japan for the Strengthening of the Economic Partnership, signed at Mexico City on September 22, 2011.
