ワーキング・ホリデー制度の一部修正に関する日本国政府とニュージーランド政府との間の口上書

在ニュージーランド日本国大使館は、外務貿易省に敬意を表するとともに、ワーキング・ホリデー制度に関する千九百八十五年五月三十日付け在ニュージーランド日本国大使館発ニュージーランド外務省あて口上書に言及する光栄を有する。日本国大使館は、更に、二千十年三月二十九日から前記の口上書を次のように改めることを外務貿易省に通報する光栄を有する。
The Embassy of Japan in New Zealand presents its compliments to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade and has the honour to refer to the Embassy’s Note Verbale dated May 30, 1985, concerning the arrangements for working holidays. The Embassy of Japan has the further honour to inform the Ministry that the aforementioned Note Verbale will be amended as follows as from March 29, 2010:
１ １の「六箇月」を「一年」に改める。
1. In paragraph 1, the words “six (6) months” will be deleted and replaced with the words “one (1) year”
２ １(iii)を次のように改める。
2. Paragraph 1(iii) will be deleted and replaced with the following:
(iii) 査証申請時の年齢が十八才から三十才まで（十八才及び三十才を含む。）であること。
“(iii) be aged between eighteen (18) and thirty (30) years both inclusive at the time of application for the visa;”
３ １(v)を次のように改める。
3. Paragraph 1(v) will be deleted and replaced with the following:
(v) ニュージーランドが発行する有効な旅券及び帰国のための旅行切符又はこのような切符を購入するための十分な資金を所持すること。
“(v) possess a valid passport issued by New Zealand and a return travel ticket or sufficient funds with which to purchase such a ticket;”
４ ４を次のように改める。
4. Paragraph 4 will be deleted and replaced with the following:
４ 日本国政府は、１にいう査証を有するニュージーランド市民に対し、最長一年の期間日本国に滞在する許可を与える。
“4 The Government of Japan will grant New Zealand citizens who have the visa mentioned in paragraph 1 above permission to stay in Japan for a period of up to one (1) year.”
在ニュージーランド日本国大使館は、以上を申し進めるに際し、ここに重ねて外務貿易省に向かって敬意を表する。
The Embassy of Japan in New Zealand avails itself of this opportunity to renew to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade the assurances of its highest consideration.

外務貿易省は、在ニュージーランド日本国大使館に敬意を表するとともに、ワーキング・ホリデー制度に関する千九百八十五年五月三十日付けニュージーランド外務省発在ニュージーランド日本国大使館あて口上書に言及する光栄を有する。外務貿易省は更に、二千十年三月二十九日から前記の口上書を次のように改めることを日本国大使館に通報する光栄を有する。
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade presents its compliments to the Embassy of Japan in New Zealand and has the honour to refer to its Note Verbale dated May 30, 1985, concerning the arrangements for working holidays.
