科学技術における協力に関する日本国政府とイスラエル国政府との間の協定の有効期間の延長に関する交換公文

(Japanese Note)
（訳文） 書簡をもって啓上いたします。本使は、千九百九十四年十二月十二日に東京で署名され、二千五年八月三日に延長された科学技術における協力に関する日本国政府とイスラエル国政府との間の協定（以下「協定」という。）に言及する光栄を有します。本使は、更に、両国政府の代表者の間で最近到達した次の了解を日本国政府に代わって確認する光栄を有します。
Jerusalem, July 29, 2010 Excellency, I have the honor to refer to the Agreement between the Government of Japan and the Government of the State of Israel on Cooperation in Science and Technology, signed at Tokyo on December 12, 1994 as extended on August 3, 2005 (hereinafter referred to as “the Agreement”). I have further the honor to confirm, on behalf of the Government of Japan, the following understanding reached recently between the representatives of the two Governments:
協定は、二千十年八月三日から延長され、いずれか一方の政府が他方の政府に対し協定を終了させる意思を六箇月前に書面により通告することによって終了させない限り無期限に効力を存続する。
The Agreement shall be extended from August 3, 2010, and remain in force indefinitely, unless terminated by either Government giving a six months’ written notice to the other Government of its intention to terminate the Agreement.
本使は、更に、この書簡及び前記の了解をイスラエル国政府に代わって確認される閣下の返簡が両国政府間の合意を構成するものとし、その合意が閣下の返簡の日付の日に効力を生ずるものとすることを提案する光栄を有します。
I have further the honor to propose that this Note and Your Excellency's Note in reply confirming on behalf of the Government of the State of Israel the foregoing understanding shall constitute an agreement between the two Governments, which shall enter into force on the date of Your Excellency’s Note in reply.
本使は、以上を申し進めるに際し、ここに閣下に向かって敬意を表します。

本大臣は、更に、前記の了解をイスラエル国政府に代わって確認するとともに、閣下の書簡及びこの返簡が両国政府間の合意を構成するものとし、その合意がこの返簡の日付の日に効力を生ずるものとすることに同意する光栄を有します。
I have further the honor to confirm on behalf of the Government of the State of Israel the foregoing understanding and to agree that Your Excellency's Note and this Note in reply shall constitute an agreement between the two Governments, which shall enter into force on the date of this Note in reply.
