	The Ministry of Foreign Affairs presents its compliments to the Embassy of the Republic of Albania and has the honour to inform the latter that the Government of Japan is prepared to take, on a reciprocal basis, the following measures from December 10, 2007 concerning the waiver of visa requirements:


							

						

						

					

					
				
			
		
			
			
				
				

				
				
				
					

						

							

								
  １　アルバニア共和国の国民であって、アルバニア共和国外務省が発給した有効な外交旅券を所持しアルバニア共和国政府の外交又は領事の任務の目的で日本国に入国することを希望するもの及びそのような旅券を所持し当該アルバニア共和国の国民の家族の構成員でその所帯に属するものは、その滞在期間のいかんを問わず、査証を取得することなく日本国に入国することができる。


							

						

						

							

								
1.	Nationals of the Republic of Albania in possession of valid diplomatic passports issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Albania, seeking entry into Japan for the purpose of exercising diplomatic or consular functions of the Government of the Republic of Albania and such nationals holding the said passports who are the members of their families forming part of their respective households, may enter Japan without obtaining a visa irrespective of the duration of stay in Japan.

							

						

						

					

					
				
			
		
			
			
				
				

				
				
				
					

						

							

								
  ２(1)　アルバニア共和国外務省が発給した有効な外交旅券を所持するアルバニア共和国の国民であって、１にいう目的以外の目的で継続して九十日を超えない期間滞在する意図をもって日本国に入国することを希望するものは、査証を取得することなく日本国に入国することができる。


							

						

						

							

								
2.	(1)	Nationals of the Republic of Albania in possession of valid diplomatic passports issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Albania, seeking entry into Japan for the purpose other than those referred to in paragraph 1. and with the intention of staying in Japan for a period not exceeding ninety (90) consecutive days, may enter Japan without obtaining a visa.

							

						

						

					

					
				
			
		
			
			
				
				

				
				
				
					

						

							

								
  　(2)　(1)の査証の要件の免除は、就職し、永住し、自由職業若しくは他の生業（報酬を得ることを目的とする芸能及びスポーツを含む。）に従事する意図をもって日本国に入国することを希望するアルバニア共和国の国民には適用されない。


							

						

						

							

								
	(2)	The waiver of the visa requirements under sub-paragraph (1) above shall not apply to any nationals of the Republic of Albania who desire to enter Japan with the intention of seeking employment or permanent residence, or of exercising a profession or other occupation (including public entertainment and sport for remunerative purposes).

							

						

						

					

					
				
			
		
			
			
				
				

				
				
				
					

						

							

								
  ３　１及び２の査証の要件の免除は、日本国に入国するアルバニア共和国の国民に対し、入国、滞在、居住、出国その他の外国人の管理に関する日本国の法令に服することを免除するものではない。


							

						

						

							

								
3.	The waiver of the visa requirements under paragraphs 1. and 2. above does not exempt nationals of the Republic of Albania entering Japan from the necessity of complying with the laws and regulations of Japan concerning the entry, stay, residence, exit and other control over aliens.

							

						

						

					

					
				
			
		
			
			
				
				

				
				
				
					

						

							

								
  ４　日本国政府は、公安、秩序及び衛生を含む公の政策上の理由により前記の諸措置の全部又は一部の適用を一時的に停止する権利を留保する。このような適用の停止又はその解除は、外交上の経路を通じて直ちにアルバニア共和国政府に通告される。


							

						

						

							

								
4.	The Government of Japan reserves the right to temporarily suspend the application of all or any part of the foregoing measures for reasons of public policy including those relating to public security, order and health. Any suspension or lifting of the suspension will be notified immediately to the Government of the Republic of Albania through the diplomatic channel.

							

						

						

					

					
				
			
		
			
			
				
				

				
				
				
					

						

							

								
  ５　日本国政府は、好ましくないと認めるアルバニア共和国の国民に対し、その理由を示すことなく日本国に入国し又は滞在することを拒否する権利を留保する。


							

						

						

							

								
5.   ６　日本国政府は、アルバニア共和国政府に対し三十日前に文書による予告を与えることにより、前記の諸措置を終了することができる。
