債務救済措置に関する取極の修正に関する日本国政府とエジプト・アラブ共和国政府との間の交換公文

書簡をもって啓上いたします。本官は、エジプト･アラブ共和国が直面する経済上の及び財政上の深刻な諸困難にかんがみエジプトの債務について例外的に実施されたエジプトの債務についての債務救済措置に関する千九百九十二年六月三十日付けのエジプト・アラブ共和国政府と日本国政府との間の交換公文(千九百九十三年四月十四日付けの交換公文による修正を含む。)に言及する光栄を有します。
Sir, I have the honour to refer to the Exchange of Notes between the Government of the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Government of Japan, dated June 30. 1992, concerning a debt relief measure with respect to Egyptian debts which was exceptionally implemented in view of the serious economic and financial difficulties faced by the Arab Republic of Egypt, as amended by the Exchange of Notes dated April 14, 1993 (hereinafter referred to as "the Notes").
本官は、更に、エジプト･アラブ共和国政府と日本国政府の代表者との間で最近到達した次の了解をエジプト･アラブ共和国政府に代わって確認する光栄を有します。
I have further the honour to confirm, on behalf of the Government of the Arab Republic of Egypt, the following understanding recently reached between the representatives of the Government of the Arab Republic of Egypt and of the Government of Japan:
前記の交換公文のIの5(3)(a)(i)を次のように改める。
(a) (i) of sub-paragraph (3) of paragraph 5 of part of the Notes shall be amended as follows:
「千九百九十三年五月三十一日」を「千九百九十三年九月二十日」に置き換える。
The term "May 31, 1993" is deleted and replaced by the term "September 20, 1993".
本官は、貴官が、前記の了解を日本国政府に代わって確認されれば幸いであります。
I should be grateful if you would confirm the foregoing understanding on behalf of the Government of Japan.
