書簡をもって啓上いたします。本大臣は、海外経済協力基金に対するジャマイカの債務についての債務救済措置に関する千九百九十一年十月二十九日付けのジャマイカ政府と日本国政府との間の交換公文に言及する光栄を有します。本大臣は、更に、ジャマイカ政府と日本国政府の代表者との間で最近到達した次の了解をジャマイカ政府に代わって確認する光栄を有します。
Sir, I have the honour to refer to the Exchange of Notes between the Government of Jamaica and the Government of Japan, dated October 29, 1991, concerning a debt relief measure with respect to Jamaican debts owed to the Overseas Economic Cooperation Fund. I have further the honour to confirm, on behalf of the Government of Jamaica, the following understanding recently reached between the representatives of the Government of Jamaica and of the Government of Japan:
1 前記の交換公文の2(1)を次のように改める。
1.Sub-paragraph (1) of paragraph 2 of the said Exchange of Notes shall be amended as follows:
(1) 「到来したか又は到来するもの」を「到来したもの」に置き換える。
(1)The term "falling or having fallen" is deleted and replaced by the term "having fallen".
(2) 「千九百九十二年六月三十日」を「千九百九十二年九月三十日」に置き換える。
(2)The term "June 30, 1992" is deleted and replaced by the term "September 30, 1992".
2 前記の交換公文の2(2)を次のように改める。
2.Sub-paragraph (2) of paragraph 2 of the said Exchange of Notes shall be amended as follows:
「二億千九百十九万二千七百六十九円(二一九、一九二、七六九円)」を「二億二千六百万六千六百八円(二二六、〇〇六、六〇八円)」に置き換える。
The term "two hundred nineteen million one hundred ninety-two thousand seven hundred and sixty-nine yen (219,192,769)" is deleted and replaced by the term "two hundred twenty-six million six thousand six hundred and eight yen (226,006,608)".
3 前記の交換公文の付表を次のように置き換える。
3.The List of the said Exchange of Notes shall be deleted and replaced by the following:
本大臣は、貴官が、前記の了解を日本国政府に代わって確認されれば幸いであります。
I should be grateful if you would confirm the foregoing understanding on behalf of the Government of Japan.
本大臣は、以上を申し進めるに際し、ここに貴官に向かって敬意を表します。
I avail myself of this opportunity to extend to you the assurance of my high consideration.

書簡をもって啓上いたします。本大臣は、日本輸出入銀行に対するジャマイカの債務についての債務救済措置に関する千九百九十一年十月二十九日付けのジャマイカ政府と日本国政府との間の交換公文に言及する光栄を有します。本大臣は、更に、ジャマイカ政府と日本国政府の代表者との間で最近到達した次の了解をジャマイカ政府に代わって確認する光栄を有します。

3 前記の交換公文の付表を次のように置き換える。
3.The List of the said Exchange of Notes shall be deleted and replaced by the following:
