PROTOCOL MODIFYING THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE GOVERNMENT OF JAPAN AND THE GOVERNMENT OF THE FEDERATIVE REPUBLIC OF BRAZIL FOR THE RESCHEDULING OF THE BRAZILIAN DEBTS OWED TO THE OVERSEAS ECONOMIC COOPERATION FUND

　海外経済協力基金に対するブラジルの債務の繰延べのための日本国政府とブラジル連邦共和国政府との間の協定を修正する議定書

　PROTOCOL MODIFYING THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE GOVERNMENT OF JAPAN AND THE GOVERNMENT OF THE FEDERATIVE REPUBLIC OF BRAZIL FOR THE RESCHEDULING OF THE BRAZILIAN DEBTS OWED TO THE OVERSEAS ECONOMIC COOPERATION FUND

　日本国政府及びブラジル連邦共和国政府は、

　The Government of Japan and the Government of the Federative Republic of Brazil,

　千九百八十九年六月二十三日にブラジリアで署名された海外経済協力基金に対するブラジルの債務の繰延べのための日本国政府とブラジル連邦共和国政府との間の協定(以下「協定」という。)を修正することを希望して、

　Desiring to modify the Agreement between the Government of Japan and the Government of the Federative Republic of Brazil for the Rescheduling of the Brazilian debts owed to the Overseas Economic Cooperation Fund, signed at Brasilia on June 23, 1989 (hereinafter referred to as "the Agreement"), Have agreed as follows:

1　協定4(b)(i)を次のように改める。

1. (b) (i) of sub-paragraph (2) of paragraph 4 of the Agreement shall be deleted and replaced by the following:

(b)
(i)　2(1)(a)にいう債務の各々は、次の計画に従つて支払われる。

(b)
(i) Each of the debts referred to in (a) of sub-paragraph (1) of Paragraph 2 will be paid in accordance with the following schedule;

(aa)　二分の一は、(1)にいう契約の署名の日の後三十日

(aa) one half (1/2) thirty (30) days after the date of the signature of the agreement referred to in sub-paragraph (1) of this paragraph,

(bb)　六分の一は、千九百九十一年七月一日

(bb) one sixth (1/6) on July 1, 1991,

(cc)　六分の一は、千九百九十二年一月一日

(cc) one sixth (1/6) on January 1,1992, and

(dd)　六分の一は、千九百九十二年七月一日

(dd) one sixth (1/6) on July 1; 1992."

2　この議定書は、署名の日に効力を生ずる

2. This Protocol shall enter into force on the date of the signature thereof.

　ブラジルとの債務繰延べ協定修正議定書

　IN WITNESS WHEREOF the undersigned, duly authorized thereto, have signed this Protocol.

　以上の証拠として、下名は、正当に委任を受けてこの議定書に署名した。

　PROTOCOL MODIFYING THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE GOVERNMENT OF JAPAN AND THE GOVERNMENT OF THE FEDERATIVE REPUBLIC OF BRAZIL FOR THE RESCHEDULING OF THE BRAZILIAN DEBTS OWED TO THE OVERSEAS ECONOMIC COOPERATION FUND

　日本国政府及びブラジル連邦共和国政府は、千九百八十九年六月二十三日にブラジリアで署名された国際協力事業団に対するブラジルの債務の繰延べのための日本国政府とブラジル連邦共和国政府との間の協定(以下「協定」という。)を修正することを希望して、

　Desiring to modify the Agreement between the Government of Japan and the Government of the Federative Republic of Brazil for the Rescheduling of the Brazilian debts owed to the Japan International Cooperation Agency, signed at Brasilia on June 23, 1989 (hereinafter referred to as "the Agreement"),

　次のとおり協定した

　Have agreed as follows:

1　協定4(2)(b)(i)を次のように改める。

1.(b) (i) of sub-paragraph (2) of paragraph 4 of the Agreement shall be deleted and replaced by the following:

(b)
(i)　2(1)(a)にいう債務の各々は、次の計画に従って支払われる。

2　この議定書は、署名の日に効力を生ずる。

　以上の証拠として、下名は、正当に委任を受けてこの議定書に署名した。
