Since its inception in July 1993, U.S.-Japan Common Agenda for Cooperation in Global Perspective has steadily broadened its scope of cooperation. It has also expanded the participating organizations and countries. The U.S. and Japan will host the U.S.-Japan Common Agenda Open Forum, with a participation of President Carter and others, so as to review the activities under the Common Agenda and discuss the U.S. -Japan Cooperation toward the 21 century.
1. Objectives
One of the objectives of the Common Agenda Open Forum is to
discuss a direction of the Common Agenda toward the 21st century
and its further promotion. This purpose would be best achieved
through reviewing the Common Agenda activities among the U.S.,
Japan and partner countries, and through exchanges among them,
and relevant organizations and individuals.
Another objective is to raise the level of public awareness on the Common Agenda domestically and internationally through participating countries, organizations and individuals.

6. How to apply
You could attend this Forum as an observer all through the
sessions. If you are interested in this forum, fill the below
application form and send by fax or mail to the Secretariat of
Common Agenda Open Forum, which belongs to International
Hospitality & Conference Service Association. Due to the
limitation of the capacity of the venue, please undersatnd that
we may not able to invite all applicants.
