3．ダボス会議の概要

• 1971年より毎年1月末から2月初めにかけ、WEF（世界経済フォーラム注1）がスイスの観光地ダボスで開催。
• WEFに加盟する企業・団体の年次総会との位置付け。加盟企業・団体のトップのほか、政・官・学等からの招待者注2を含め計2500人近くが参加。
• 毎年メインテーマを設定し、経済、グローバルな問題、地域問題、経営と技術、科学・医学、芸術、文化など幅広い分野にわたり、150近い総会・セッションに分かれて議論を展開。
• 議論の模様は、Financial Times、Time誌等世界の主要メディアで報道。

注1：	・法人会員制により1200以上の企業や団体が加盟する非営利の公益財団（1971年創設） ・本拠ジュネーブ ・理事長は創設時よりクラウス・シュワブ博士（ジュネーブ大学教授）。
注2：	招待は、加盟企業・団体に裨益するとの観点からWEFが選定した個人あてに行われる。
