Message on the accidental passing away of Macedonian President Trajkovski

According to the Macedonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, about 4 p.m. (8 a.m. local time) on 26th February the Macedonian government owned airplane, which carried Macedonian President Mr. Boris Trajkovski flying to Bosnia and Herzegovina, crashed in the south of Mostar. Macedonian government has decided that beginning on Feb. 27th , the country with enter a mourning period of three days at half-mast flags.
Prime Minister Mr.Junichiro Koizumi and Minister for Foreign Affairs Ms Yoriko Kawaguchi have sent their condolences to Macedonian Prime Minister Mr. Branko Crvenkovski and Foreign Minister Ms Ilinka Mitreva respectively on the accidental passing of President Mr. Boris Trajkovski who made a major contribution toward the solution of ethnic conflict in 2001 and devoted great efforts to the construction of a multi-ethnic democratic country based on dialogue among ethnic groups.
