- Stone money in Yap
- The world's largest money, made of limestone, has been used on Yap island in Micronesia for about 800 years. It is used even today, together with regular money (U.S. dollars), in real estate dealings and as celebratory gifts. Stone money comes in various sizes, the diameter ranging from 30 centimeters to 3 meters.
- Samoa Houses
- The traditional Samoan house consists only of pillars and a roof. There is no privacy, as the house has no partitions or outer walls. Since the structure cuts off the scorching sunlight while letting through the cool breeze, air conditioning is not needed. The house is well adapted to Samoa's tropical climate.
- Traditional Dance
- Singsing is a traditional dance performed in the highlands of Papua New Guinea. Villagers adorned with colorful body painting and bird of paradise feathers perform songs and dances traditional to each village on such occasions as coming-of-age rituals, harvest festivals, and funerals.
