Strengthening prevention and management of emergency of obstetrical care and Gender Based Violence (GBV) was successfully conducted.

● 150 health providers, 70 individuals (social workers, judicial personal, security and defense forces, members of NGO), and 200 community health workers and traditional birth attendants, in management of gender based violence and reproductive health were trained
● 5 regional/general hospitals were rehabilitated and equipped
● 56 heath centers were provided in medical equipment, supplies and reproductive health commodities
● 5 social centers were rehabilitated and equipped to give psychosocial assistance to people victims of GBV
● 5 Platforms of coverage of the cases of GBV and unwanted pregnancies were installed in the five departments (Mankono, Séguéla, Danané, Toulepleu and Touba). These frames of collaboration facilitate the synergy of the actions of the actors (health providers, the social workers, the policemen and the agents of justice and the members of NGO).
● At least 450 GBV victims were identified and managed
● 174 survivors of GBV and unwanted pregnancy were supported for the implementation of commercial activities (sale of rice, sale of dried fish, sale of soap, etc.). The system of revolving set up will allow to reconstitute the initial capital and to support new beneficiaries.
● 606 women, instead of 480 planned, from 15 to 68 years old alphabetized
● At least 9,038 persons among whom 2,211 men, were made sensitized on the rights of the women
● 52 Female Genital Mutilation professionals were sensitized and reinserted into women's groups for the implementation of income generating activities
● 108 groupings of 11,362 women were supported for the production of objects of potteries and for the exploitation of 40 hectares of hot peppers, and of 122 hectare of manioc, 2 hectares of groundnuts, 192 hectares of pluvial rice, and 90 hectares of corn. The dynamics created by the support for these groupings of women not only facilitated the abandonment of the excision and made grow the number of member of groupings on average 38 %
● 100 administrative and decentralized authorities, religious and community leaders sensitized on GBV
● At least 17 public mass media emissions were conducted on the GBV, FGM, and reproductive health. At least 1,547 people were sensitized by these emissions
● The document of national strategy on gender based violence and female genital mutilations is finalized
