(1)Livelihood stabilization

- App. 15,000 to benefit from farming inputs (seed fairs), income generating activities, and vocational/skills trainings (farming inputs app. 12,000, income generating activities app. 2,700 through 33 self-help groups etc., vocational/skills training app. 300 etc.)
- App. 1,000 to benefit from rehabilitation of water pans, pasture seeds plantations and drip irrigation kits (IOM-FAO)
- 4 communities in 3 different regions to benefit from establishment of solar energy market places, bio-gas plant and skills trainings (IOM-UNIDO and ADA)

(2)Counter-trafficking (awareness raising, capacity building and alternative livelihood)

- National Information campaigns using TV advertisements, radio advertisements, billboards, documentary etc. conducted in major cities
- Community Awareness/outreach campaign using caravan (road shows, including theater), mobile cinema, sports events, public rallies etc. conducted in 17 locations for app 22,000 people
- App. 200 officers and 160 community leaders trained on human trafficking in North Rift Valley
- 20 sensitization workshops (app. 700 participants) conducted for leaders in North Eastern Province, and surveillance teams within the refugee camps have been organized
- Over 300 cases screened/interviewed/profiled with some were referred to for (1) livelihood and (3)psychosocial assistance (counseling etc.)
- Child hotline center established in North Eastern Province
- Somali Cultural Centre for supporting victims/vulnerable groups with livelihood trainings etc. under construction.

(3)Psychosocial assistance

- Individual/group counseling conducted identifying app. 16,500 cases with beneficiaries referred to (1) livelihood stabilization projects and (2) counter-trafficking projects, and Medical Facilities
- Data collection system is in place since September to address the psychosocial needs, and attempt to identify different trends in the 3 regions.
- 133 community leaders have been trained and empowered with skills on how to prevent and better respond to gender based violence and sexual exploitation and abuse.
- 185 community counselors trained
- 13 counseling and recreational spaces are identified and supported to provide support to over 16 self help groups dealing with trauma and promoting empowerment, interaction and potential livelihood skills that are characteristic of the community cultural background
