・Completion of an external evaluation of EDUCAIDS, involving 2 case studies (Kenya and Namibia) and in consultation with key stakeholders in 12 countries.

(ii) Through the Bruni-Tedeschi Foundation in Angola, Lesotho, Namibia and Swaziland

・Appointment of a regional coordinator based in Windhoek to manage the activities funded by the Bruni-Tedeschi Foundation.
・Signature of an agreement between OFID and UNESCO to implement a programme to support comprehensive education sector responses to HIV and AIDS in 17 countries in East and Southern Africa (two year programme).
・Appointment of a programme manager in South Africa to oversee the OFID-UNESCO programme in all 17 countries.
・Appointment of National Programme Officers in 10 of the 17 countries where the OFID-UNESCO programme is operating．
