The four themes of this dialogue are: (1) promotion and protection of innovation; (2) investment (strengthening the freedom of investment through an open investment climate including a strengthening of the principle of corporate social responsibility; (3) clarification of shared responsibilities for development (with special emphasis on Africa); and (4) sharing knowledge concerning the improvement of technical cooperation and energy efficiency.
