The Overseas Economic Cooperation Council was established in April 2006 with the membership of the Prime Minister (chair), Chief Cabinet Secretary, Minister for Foreign Affairs, Minister of Finance, and the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry. The Council discusses important matters relating to overseas economic cooperation in order to implement strategic overseas economic cooperation (see Chapter 3. 1 for details).
