Japan supports a variety of UNESCO's EFA activities through contributions to the Japanese Trust Fund for the Capacity-building of Human Resources and the Trust Fund for Education for All, which have been established within UNESCO, the leading organization for EFA. In FY2005 Japan contributed US$4.175 million to the Japanese Trust Fund for the Capacity-building of Human Resources, and US$944,000 to the Trust Fund for Education for All.
