*2 Cooperation Bases System

The Cooperation Bases System is an embodiment of "strengthening of domestic institutions," which was included as part of BEGIN. It is based on three major pillars: "Sharing Cooperation Experience" to strengthen the major efforts in the area of education; support for in-service teachers who are to be sent overseas (communicating shared cooperation experiences); and assistance in promoting the use of segments that have limited cooperation experience. Such domestic support systems are being enhanced by efforts led by the University of Tsukuba and Hiroshima University.
